The market for ULAB recycling plants is extremely dynamic and heterogeneous. In fact, alongside recyclers with international presence, utilizing Engitec Plants exceeding 200,000tpy of exhaust batteries, there is a quite remarkable number of Regional Recyclers with limited availability of tonnage of ULAB.

It goes without saying that Regional Recyclers are not looking for the maximum number of options and the fully automatized cycles, as they all involve large CapEx which is inconsistent with the tonnage of ULAB available and finally with the expected ROI.

For such Local Recyclers, Engitec Technologies has tailored the new CX® SMART capable of processing up to 12.000 ULAB and incorporating the well-known Engitec technique and Customer’s dedication.
In this paper the Authors explore the technical features of the newly launched CX® SMART.
